Responsibilities
Manually set up the press to ensure precise printing, scoring, and die cutting according to operational specifications.
Thoroughly inspect dies before and after production runs to guarantee timely repairs and optimal performance.
Verify and ensure that all bolts on the die cut cylinder are securely fastened.
Closely monitor box quality, assessing aspects such as liner integrity, warping, correct dimensions, die cut precision, and print quality.
Achieve proficiency in all aspects of machine operation, including pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, and load former.
Effectively manage ink, making necessary adjustments for pH and viscosity.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the production team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks successfully in a fast-paced production environment while adhering to quality standards and efficiency goals.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Mathematical proficiency and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to accurately use a tape measure.
Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays as needed.
