Your Role and Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a talented Oracle Cloud Test Automation Specialist to enhance our Quality Engineering team. This hands-on position is perfect for someone with extensive experience in designing, building, and evolving test automation frameworks and suites for enterprise cloud business applications. You will be pivotal in improving and maintaining IBM’s internal test automation frameworks for Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS applications while delivering test automation services across multiple Oracle Cloud projects.

Design, develop, execute, and maintain efficient automated regression testing suites using IBM’s internal test automation frameworks for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications implementation and support projects.

Deeply understand existing in-house test automation frameworks and actively contribute to their enhancements and maintenance.

Manage virtual test automation environments and infrastructure, including administering AWS-hosted test labs.

Troubleshoot automation failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve issues across systems, environments, and integrations promptly.

Communicate automation progress, test execution status, and defect metrics through Test ALM dashboards, ensuring transparency for stakeholders.

Collaborate with both onshore and offshore test automation teams to optimize resource utilization and maximize test coverage.

Develop proof-of-concept (POC) automation solutions tailored to cloud applications based on customer use cases and evolving needs.

Work with delivery and practice leadership to provide insights on testing best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and methodology enhancements.

Ensure QA team members have access to the necessary tools, frameworks, environments, and training to uphold productivity and standards.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases and automated scripts for comprehensive validation.

Maintain thorough documentation for test plans, test cases, automation frameworks, utilities, and reusable components.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Over 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering for enterprise Cloud and Web applications.

Proven expertise in test automation for Cloud-based business apps such as ERP, HCM, SCM, CRM, or analytics platforms.

At least 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks using leading industry tools.

Strong knowledge of framework design methodologies, including Keyword, Hybrid, and Page Object Model.

Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Selenium, and Eclipse IDE.

Familiarity with enterprise Cloud business applications like Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, or SAP.

Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies, test processes, and full project implementation lifecycles.

Exceptional analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities with a strong focus on identifying and resolving root causes.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with global QA and delivery teams.

Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting project requirements.

Innovative and proactive mentality with a passion for continuous improvement.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Experience in managing test infrastructure on Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
