About the Role: Join us as an Advanced Events Associate, where you'll play a vital role in crafting customer-facing conferences and events that engage and inspire. In this position, you'll work collaboratively across departments to create impactful experiences that enhance participation and generate leads, all while aligning with our business objectives in College & Career Readiness (CCR).

Principal Responsibilities:

Manage the planning and implementation of conferences and customer-facing events, ensuring that every detail aligns with our organizational goals.

Work with the events lead to develop effective models for various events, enhancing lead-generation efforts in line with business priorities.

Oversee all aspects of event planning, including agenda development, registration management, speaker coordination, and logistics like A/V needs, catering, signage, and more.

Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams, external clients, and cross-functional colleagues to guarantee high-quality event experiences.

Collaborate with marketing teams to create and dispatch promotional communications to maximize event registration.

Assist in developing post-event reports and deliverables, including survey results, attendee lists, recordings, and budget reconciliation.

Contribute to evaluating event effectiveness by measuring ROI and reporting performance metrics.

Stay updated on trends in event technology, registration systems, and best industry practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning or related roles.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Proven success in coordinating impactful virtual and in-person events.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Technically adept with a quick learning curve for new technologies.

Ability to remain calm and resourceful in fast-paced environments.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Creative and open-minded, eager to contribute new ideas.

Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite event support.

Compensation: At Pearson, we consider various factors for compensation, including skills, experience, and location. The annual salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $50,000. You will also be eligible for an annual incentive program.
