Job Responsibilities:

Understand and master the core techniques of lion dance, including jumping movements, and able to accurately portray the lion’s expressions and demeanor.

Possess a keen sense of musical rhythm, able to anticipate drum patterns and adjust the lion head/tail movements accordingly to ensure smooth coordination.

Collaborate with the Choreographer and operation team in daily rehearsals and performances to ensure the highest quality of production.

Adapt flexibly to the show director’s requirements.

Maintain professionalism during performances to ensure stage order and safety.

Deliver consistent and high-quality performances across multiple shows.

Maintain effective communication and collaboration with fellow performers, musicians, and technical crew.

Job Requirements:

Applicants with experience in traditional lion dance and related performances. Participation in large-scale cultural tourism events or having stage and performance experience is preferred.

High school or above required.

Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Able to precisely portray the lion’s emotions—such as joy, anger, suspicion, and surprise—through performance techniques (with the head performer emphasizing expression and characterization, and the tail performer focusing on physical coordination and support). Possesses strong musical rhythm, foundational dance learning ability, and excellent physical fitness; additionally demonstrates strong teamwork, adaptability, and learning capability.
