Collaborate with Technology and Software Platform teams to deliver cloud infrastructure solutions, covering all aspects including hosting, computing, databases, and networks.
Define and integrate components to establish robust infrastructure patterns that prioritize availability, scalability, and reliability.
Bring your expertise in OpenShift/GKE and hands-on experience with GCP services, such as Containers, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Big Query, and Cloud Storage.
Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications on GCP.
Leverage your application development skills with technologies like Java, Springboot, and Python.
Work cross-functionally to seamlessly integrate GCP services into Ford's broader IT architecture.
Stay abreast of GCP technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Document and advise on GCP infrastructure processes, utilizing REST API, Agile tools, DevOps practices, and establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Implement best practices in GCP application deployment and management with development teams.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot GCP resources while resolving any infrastructure-related issues.
Assist in developing technical designs and documentation, while maintaining open communication and sharing best practices with stakeholders.
Work with various cloud services, ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards, including Identity and Access Management.
Engage in serverless design, CaaS implementation, IaaS security compliance, network management, and automation of remediation processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
8+ years of increasing responsibility in IT or technology-related roles.
5+ years of experience with cloud-native GCP and hybrid cloud environments.
3+ years of scripting and automation experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
3+ years of application development using Java, Springboot, Python, etc.
2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Experience in datacenter operations.
Proficient in Linux/Windows environments.

This position ranges from a salary grade of 5 to 8, with compensation between $63,480 and $162,120.
