Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Data Engineer, where you will play a key role in delivering vital data solutions. Collaborate with talented team members to build data source pipelines, process critical data, generate insightful reports, and develop data web APIs. In this role, you will also help define engineering standards, best practices, and resolve any production data challenges that arise.

Duties & Responsibilities

Create metadata for diverse data feeds.

Develop foundational feed ingestion models to effectively integrate with data sources.

Utilize product capabilities to configure essential web APIs.

Set up and deploy various tools.

Assist with basic development tasks and scripting assignments.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production data issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

0 to 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.

Proficiency in SQL development, as well as in creating reports and dashboards.

Solid understanding of BI Data Warehouse database concepts.

Structured approach to development with a focus on measuring, monitoring, and testing.

Understanding of programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Experience with Big Data is a plus.

Familiarity with the telecommunications domain is a plus.

Any experience related to Cloud Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or Cloud technologies is advantageous.

SQL Queries, OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), Spark, Linux, Web API usage, Kafka, Scala, Basic Hadoop Operations, SQL Aggregations, Python/Shell Script, Regular Expressions, BI - Data Warehouse DB concepts, GitHub, Jenkins, Talend, and NiFi.
