Algorithm Developer

Job Duties : Partner with various Departments (e.g.

Product and Apps) to design product features in Python, both within the context of the core technologies involved and the business side of things - identify opportunities to improve revenue growth and reduce churn.

Own product lifecycle including data preparation, data cleaning, data analysis, machine learning, and computer vision using Python, Pandas, Scikit, Plotly, Tensorflow, PyTorch, CUDA, and C++ to create decisions and visualizations and present these insights and visualizations to other members of the company at different levels of technical sophistication.

Formulate and design algorithms, develop and apply statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision techniques using Docker, Tensorflow, AWS Batch, AWS EC2, and AWS Lambda to create scalable solutions for video processing and visualization.

Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability by discussing resources to be allocated for each product/feature.

Research new methods to advance Deep Learning and Computer vision approaches at Trace (Neural Networks, unsupervised learning, ensemble modeling) through IEEE and CVPR.

Develop products and features and fast-track them into production.

Efficiently manage own project queue and develop scalable workflows using Lattice and Asana.

Collaborate with other members of the Math Team to develop and assist in the development of algorithms and solutions including models, features, and dashboards in Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Matplotlib, TensorRT, C++, and Matlab for projects related to Object Detection, Object Tracking, Multi-Camera Geometry, Scenario understanding, Event Detection, and other Deep Learning and Computer vision techniques.

Assist in Quality Assurance at an algorithms level and provide assistance in ensuring customer satisfaction as soon as possible using in-house Maintenance software, Python, Bash Scripting, C++, OpenCV, and AWS.

Maintain the product codebase to the highest possible standards and ensure a robust experience for the customer using Git and AWS.
