As a Lead Production Planner, you will oversee daily, weekly, and monthly workflows across our operations, ensuring smooth handling of inbound, outbound, and returns processing. Your role is crucial in integrating production plans with leadership to consistently meet our goals, objectives, and KPI targets. You will proactively identify and resolve operational challenges while collaborating with customers to assess site performance, optimize capacity solutions, and enhance overall throughput.
Your responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the Operations Team to align resource and capacity planning with KPI metrics, productivity targets, labor efficiency, and operational efficiency.
Planning, managing, and adjusting workloads and shift schedules for optimal fulfillment center resource utilization.
Implementing predictive analytics based on site trends and accurate forecasts.
Overseeing fulfillment and returns processing to consistently meet customer expectations for accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
Developing actionable plans to address fulfillment performance issues.
Maintaining open communication with operations departments and customer planning to respond swiftly to business priorities.
Driving continuous improvement projects throughout our distribution center.
Managing both standard and ad hoc reporting related to production planning and operational communication.
Enforcing company policies, procedures, and strategies across the team.
Maximizing quality and productivity by understanding job standards and evaluating performance variances.
Providing guidance on safety, sanitation, quality, and maintenance; facilitating new associate orientation and training.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with:
1-3 years of logistics industry experience.
2-4 years in a supervisory or management role.
1-3 years of customer service or fulfillment center planning experience.
