As a Cybersecurity Firewall Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding client networks by implementing and managing firewall and network sensing technologies. You will collaborate with a team of cybersecurity experts to ensure effective security measures are in place to combat cyber threats.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deploy, configure, and optimize firewall solutions to establish robust security controls.
Continuously monitor network traffic and security events to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct in-depth analyses of security incidents, focusing on root cause identification and effective remediation strategies.
Work closely with incident response teams to investigate and address security incidents promptly.
Develop and maintain comprehensive firewall policies, rules, and documentation to comply with industry standards.
Support security audits and assessments to ensure alignment with security policies and regulations.
Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and innovative security technologies to bolster the organization's defenses.
Assist in creating and delivering security awareness training for staff on firewall operations and network security best practices.
Mentor junior analysts, providing insights into firewall management and incident response processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in network security operations, emphasizing firewall management.
Extensive experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Familiarity with technologies like Checkpoint and Tufin.
Experience with security monitoring tools such as Splunk; familiarity with network visibility solutions like Netography is a plus.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management ticketing systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
