Plant Manager – Limestone Operations

A leading aggregates producer is recruiting a Plant Manager to oversee an underground limestone mining facility in Kentucky. This role requires a results-driven leader with an unwavering commitment to workplace safety, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will independently lead site operations while ensuring regulatory compliance, cost control, and production excellence.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in mining operations and/or engineering, including extensive exposure to underground and surface aggregate operations.

3+ years of direct supervisory experience.

Familiarity with aggregate quality and production software such as AggQC and AggFlow is advantageous.

Solid understanding of financial statements, cost management, and basic accounting concepts.

Proven leadership presence with the ability to influence and develop supervisors, foremen, and frontline leaders.

Demonstrated success implementing best practices across safety, production, maintenance, and quality functions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new operational systems.
