The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time, non-tenure stream research faculty in the Department of Health and Community Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This Appointment-Stream Research Assistant Professor will be a part-time faculty member in the Health and Community Systems Department in the School of Nursing, who will be supporting data collection and analysis for a grant examining veterans' mental health. Maintenance of licensures and certifications when applicable in relevant area. It is expected that the faculty member will pursue and maintain excellence in all areas, continually seeking opportunities to advance knowledge and skillset. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Research Assistant Professor – A) An earned doctorate (PhD) in nursing is required; B) Demonstrated expertise in the indicated area of mental health nursing; C) Evidence of potential to produce scholarly work.

Faculty promotion opportunities are available for all ranks. Qualifications for these appointment stream faculty positions include an earned doctorate (PhD) and eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania or a compact state. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
