Job Purpose The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for achieving growth within Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs), outpatient surgery centers, specialty clinics, and medical office environments.
Growth is achieved primarily by expanding sales of Staxi’s products to new customers, both within existing accounts and with new accounts.
This role requires an individual with experience working in or selling into outpatient medical environments who understands clinical workflows, purchasing processes, and how to effectively engage decision-makers such as Administrators, Office Managers, Nurse Managers, and Materials Managers Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Manage the full healthcare sales cycle within assigned territory, including: Prospecting and cold-calling Ambulatory Surgical Centers and medical offices Conducting needs assessments specific to clinical and patient flow environments Identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers within facilities Generating quotes in Salesforce Closing sales Reviewing purchase orders and forwarding to Order Desk Coordinator 2.
Develop strategic relationships with: Office Administrators Office Managers Practice Managers Nurse Managers Materials Management 3.
Position Staxi products effectively within clinical workflows, patient transport processes, and facility operations.

Work closely with Senior Sales Manager to ensure territory is tracking to goal; proactively address pipeline gaps or forecast shortfalls.

Maintain strong daily activity in Salesforce including: Account and contact creation Opportunity management Quote generation and revisions Logging calls and emails Task management and follow-up 6.
Maintain a robust, healthcare-focused sales pipeline.
7.
Follow up on inbound healthcare leads within 48 hours.
8.
Perform virtual and in-person product demonstrations tailored to ASC and medical office environments.
9.
Conduct webinars and presentations for healthcare groups and multi-site operators.
10.
Attend healthcare industry trade shows and networking events when applicable.
11.
Generate new business through cold calls, business intelligence systems, healthcare networks, referrals, and industry relationships.
12.
Develop long-term partnerships with facilities and position Staxi as a trusted vendor within their operations.
13.
Provide regular reporting on territory performance and recommend strategies to increase penetration within ASC and medical office markets.
14.
Meet objective goals related to call volume, quote creation, close rate, and sales growth.
15.
Collaborate with the Sales Team and cross-functional departments to improve outreach strategies specific to the healthcare vertical.
16.
Manage expenses within company guidelines and submit monthly expense reports on time.
Key Success Characteristics 1.
Experience working in or selling into Ambulatory Surgical Centers, outpatient facilities, or medical offices strongly preferred.

Previous B2B healthcare sales experience preferred.
3.
Understanding of outpatient healthcare operations, patient transport workflow, and facility purchasing processes.
4.
Experience identifying and reaching the appropriate decision-makers within clinical environments.
5.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.
6.
Strong recordkeeping and follow-up discipline.
7.
Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
8.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative professionals to build relationships that matter.
9.
Professional presence suitable for engaging outpatient healthcare leadership.
Working Conditions The Account Manager is a hybrid position, with one day per week spent at headquarters, the other 4 days working via telephone & computer from a home office.
Work hours are 9AM – 5PM, EST.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, who uses the tools provided to build sales and create relationships with new and existing customers.
Responsiveness to emails, phone calls, and Teams meetings is expected.
The Account Manager will participate remotely in sales meetings on a weekly basis, as well as any other meetings that are called by Staxi management.
Reporting The Account Manager reports to the Senior Sales Manager.
Remuneration The Accounting Manager is paid a salary + commission.
