We are seeking a dependable and motivated CDL Driver who is also willing to perform asphalt labor tasks as part of our crew. While asphalt experience isnot required, candidates must be comfortable working both behind the wheel and on the ground as part of a hands-on construction team. This position plays an important role in safely transporting materials and equipment to job sites and supporting daily asphalt operations.

Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

Safely operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.

Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.

Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Properly secure loads to prevent damage during transport.

Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and fuel records.

Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in safe working condition.

Asphalt Labor Duties:

Assist with general asphalt labor tasks on job sites (training provided).

Work on the ground with the crew to support paving operations.

Follow safety protocols and instructions from supervisors to maintain a safe work environment.

Perform additional labor or support tasks as needed to keep the project moving efficiently.

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class A)

Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry.

Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability and willingness to perform both driving and physical labor daily.
