Position Summary
TDK SensEI is seeking a highly organized and results-driven part time Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the company's logistics and supply chain operations in the USA. The role reports directly to the Chief Commercial & Operating Officer and is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods, while maintaining high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing domestic and international logistics, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to optimize supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Oversee all aspects of logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and distribution.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and partners while optimizing cost and efficiency.
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
Inventory & Warehousing
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and ensure accuracy of stock records.
Implement processes to reduce inventory discrepancies and improve stock turnover.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings across the logistics and supply chain functions.
Develop, implement, and monitor logistics policies and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including customs and import/export documentation.
Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and operations teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and operational challenges to senior management.
Support cross-functional projects related to supply chain improvements, system implementations, and vendor management.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs regulations.
Proficient in logistics management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
