Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate with Customs Experience to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient materials handling, order picking, and shipping & receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires familiarity with heavy equipment operation, warehouse management systems, and compliance with OSHA standards. Candidates with warehouse distribution background and experience in customs procedures will excel in this position, contributing to seamless supply chain processes and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders

Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols

Operate sit down forklift efficiently

Manage shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage of goods

Conduct materials handling activities such as heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse

Assist with customs documentation and procedures for international shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA standards

Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating the movement of goods throughout the facility

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations including order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling

Strong knowledge forklift.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control

Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse environments

Experience with customs procedures and international shipping documentation is highly desirable

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods

Construction or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy

Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
