The ID1 Photo Shift Lead oversees day to day area operations and leads a photo engineering team of direct reports to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant work execution.
This role manages staffing and work prioritization, drives area and Fab performance, and supports employee development through coaching, goal setting, and feedback.
Responsibilities * Manage and develop direct reports, ensuring safe, compliant, and ethical work environments while monitoring and resolving potential issues.
* Oversee shift and area performance by managing staffing, distributing work, following up on game plans, resolving or escalating issues, and coordinating tool time.
* Serve as the primary contact for safety, emergency response, and operational issues impacting area efficiency, line performance, and cycle time.
* Monitor and improve quality by following up on deviations, ensuring procedures are accurate, and leading or participating in continuous improvement activities.
* Support performance management through coaching, accountability, and development planning, while promoting collaboration across teams.
Minimum Qualifications * B.S.
in a STEM related field or at least 2 years of semiconductor industry experience in Photolithography.
* Experience ensuring safe work practices and adherence to safety, legal, and procedural requirements.
* Experience coordinating operations, monitoring area performance, and making informed decisions using process and equipment knowledge.
* Experience leading or participating in improvement projects, audits, or quality investigations.
* Experience coaching team members, supporting performance expectations, and driving accountability.
Preferred Qualifications * Previous leadership experience * Solid understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments). * Experience with scripting, programming, or visualization tools (Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab). * Strong data intuition and visualization skills.
