Job Schedule
We are adding to your team! This position is Sunday-Wednesday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels in order to fulfill client's orders with continuous focus on accurate output at maximum productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Continuous focus on problem pick reports-complete all client's orders by locating any stock that could not be found in bins by pickers. Deliver orders with stock to appropriate shipping lines.
Monitor & maintain warehouse zones that are assigned to you; including:
Restock inventory and pull inventory from overflow locations that need replenished.
Ensure product is easily accessible by pickers; bins and pallets should be clearly labeled, and all inventory has an SKU number.
Keep isles clean and free of debris; all bins, shelving & pallets straightened; remove any unused pallets or boxes.
Ensure that all products with expiration dates are rotated with the current date forward.
Keep all products on shelves stocked, pulled forward as well as all cases opened.
Products on pallets should be clearly marked, remove any shrink wrap, twine, or extra boxes. Ensure boxes are opened and any partial pallets are restocked as needed.
Communicate with the Inventory Supervisor to ensure any critical stocking issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
Assist other stockers in their zones as needed (including assistance with heavy items).
Follow hot/cold report to ensure your zone is laid out in the appropriate manner for quick retrieval of products. Communicate with Manager if a particular product may need to be moved to the Quick Pick Zone.
Assist pickers loading large items onto their carts, and direct them to merchandise as required.
Assist Stock/Inventory Control Manager with any stock/inventory-related projects such as physical counts or warehouse reorganization.
Responsible for performing at your highest level with or without direct supervision.
Performs all duties in a manner that supports all safety policies, encourages peers to maintain all safety policies, and reports any warehouse safety violations.
Adheres to all company policies and encourages peers to do the same.
Perform any additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Education: The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Must be able to operate pallet jacks (manual & electronic) as well as operate our computer system.
May be required to drive a forklift reach truck.
Must be able to work independently & have excellent time management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have attention to detail.
Have a positive attitude and be adaptable.
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with Management & Staff.
Working Conditions
Order volume fluctuations may create a necessity to occasionally work overtime.
The working environment is consistent with a typical warehouse; exposure to noise and dust as well as changes in temperature and lighting.
Equipment, such as Forklifts, is consistently used throughout the warehouse.
Physical Requirements
The ability to stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, push and pull the entire length of your shift (generally 10 hours). Be able to climb ladders, handle heights and lift client merchandise from 0-75 pounds from zero to up to 10 hours per day.
