Description:
Seeking a full-time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) in Fort Worth, Texas.
A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. Responsibilities for this position may include:
- Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.
- Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
- Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.
Must be a US Citizen
Required Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of experience with armament (1 or more of the following: external stores/fuel tanks, pylons, pods)
Must have at least 5 years of recent experience with Structural design.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
5 years of experience with PDM is preferred.
