About Our Client
Job Description
The Project Engineer will be responsible for:
Oversee daily field operations to ensure project milestones and overall completion deadlines are met.
Review blueprints, client requirements, and contractor submissions to develop accurate bids.
Lead project planning efforts and establish effective site logistics strategies.
Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain strong time management practices to drive on-time project delivery.
Keep detailed daily and weekly construction logs.
Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities.
Communicate directly with investors as needed while maintaining a professional, client-facing presence.
Ensure proper job site signage and full compliance with safety regulations.
Review bids, inspect completed work, and schedule required on-site inspections.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local municipalities to support future business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant
The Project Engineer will have:
Demonstrated ability to deliver construction projects on time and within budget.
Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans.
Strong technical knowledge of residential construction, including building codes, trade sequencing, and best practices.
Proven problem-solving ability on complex, detailed projects.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, and city inspections to ensure smooth project execution.
Set project objectives, procedures, performance, and quality standards in line with company policies and contract requirements.
Manage construction schedules and direct subcontractors and suppliers to meet project timelines and budgets.
Identify potential issues, anticipate delays, maintain job site safety, and implement corrective actions as needed.
