A primary focus of this position will be the role of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).– Site Point of Contact (POC) is the strategic HR lead for the Palawan site. This role advises site leadership, manages employee relations, ensures compliance with Philippine labor laws, delivers HR programs, and aligns with corporate HR strategy. The HRBP translates business objectives into people strategies and ensures effective, consistent implementation of all HR processes, governance, and employee lifecycle activities.

What you’ll do

Strategic HR Partnership

Partner with local and global operations leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies aligned with business goals.

Provide expert advice on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning in line with global policies and standards.

Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to site needs.

Analyze HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, engagement, productivity) and recommend data-driven interventions.

Site HR Operations (POC Function)

Serve as the primary HR representative for the Palawan site.

Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end HR lifecycle processes:

Recruitment coordination with the Talent Acquisition Team

Onboarding & offboarding

Performance management

Compensation & benefits administration

Timekeeping and attendance oversight

Act as liaison between corporate HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Payroll, C&B, L&D, Compliance) and site operations.

Support site audits and ensure documentation readiness.

Employee & Labor Relations

Manage employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.

Ensure compliance with the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE regulations.

Handle grievance management and serve as an escalation point for workplace concerns.

Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and inclusion.

Represent the company in administrative hearings, if required.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure full compliance with:

Philippine Labor Laws

DOLE requirements

Company Code of Conduct

Internal HR policies

Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems and ensure audit readiness.

Support internal and external audits as required.

Monitor and mitigate HR-related risks at site level.

Talent & Organizational Development

Partner with leadership to identify capability gaps and training needs.

Support leadership development initiatives.

Facilitate annual global performance cycle and performance calibration discussions.

Drive succession planning and retention strategies.

Culture & Engagement

Champion company culture at site level.

Lead local employee engagement surveys and action planning.

Organize site-level HR initiatives, wellness activities, and recognition programs.

Support change management initiatives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Attrition and turnover rate within acceptable threshold

Maintain or improve employee engagement score

Timely resolution of ER cases based on established turnaround times

Zero major labor compliance violations

Audit readiness score

Leadership satisfaction rating.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor or College Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.

Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience.

At least 3 years HRBP experience or generalist role

Must have wide experience on government transactions and compliance to labor law.

Experience in compensation and benefits design programs for employees across rank is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and DOLE processes.

Proven experience in ER case management and investigations.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Data-driven mindset with HR analytics capability.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

High level of integrity and discretion.

Willing to be relocated in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan
