What You'll Be Doing
The Quality Engineer provides assistance with the Quality Department and related tasks. This role actively participates in overseeing products and processes to ensure they meet standards, including creating quality control systems, inspecting and testing products, analyzing data, and troubleshooting issues.

What Your Day to Day Is
Implementing overall quality inspection strategy
Utilizing a Coordinated Measurement Machine (CMM) and PC DMIS (Dimensional Measurement Interface Standard) to inspect products
Monitoring, testing and inspecting products to assure they meet specified standards
Developing sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations
Designing systems by which production quality can be checked in an ongoing process
Leading or explaining applicable electrical and mechanical inspection
Leading quality assurance meetings and communicating quality metrics
Conducting or overseeing receipt inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection
Establishing statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence
Leading or participating in quality audits
Issuing, resolving, and reviewing corrective and preventive actions
Conducting root cause analysis
Deploying problem-solving skills in advancing process improvement
Determining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
Creating and maintaining quality documentation and training staff on proper quality control procedures
Hosting customer and regulatory reviews of quality operations
Learning and maintaining excellent knowledge of applicable CRL online systems
Collaborating with various teams to improve efficiency and reliability and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.

What You'll Have
Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
Capability in performing FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and Gage R&R
Comfort with process flow maps and control plans
Experience with quality auditing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Positive interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced work environment
Intermediate-level electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
