Cold Room Technician

We are looking for a skilled Cold Room Technician with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of cold room systems, including both positive and negative temperature setups. The candidate should hold an ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related technical field.

The role involves troubleshooting refrigeration units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, control panels, and insulation systems to ensure optimal performance and temperature stability. The technician will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, gas charging, leak detection, electrical checks, and system calibration to maintain efficiency and prevent breakdowns.

The position requires maintaining temperature logs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance planning. The candidate will coordinate with operations, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted cold storage operations, especially for perishable or temperature-sensitive products.

Strong technical problem-solving skills, knowledge of refrigeration cycles, and familiarity with cold chain standards are essential. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling emergency repairs, maintaining documentation of service activities, and ensuring all equipment operates within prescribed parameters.
