Machine Operator

Job Description

Work quickly and efficiently with hands continuously (reaching and performing repetitive hand wrist and arm motions)

Lift up to 50 lbs. – bend, carry, push, pull and other activities as needed

Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time

Keeping a straight product flow along conveyors

Set up machinery for operation

Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance

Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions

Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance

Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures and report problems to supervisor

Comply with all safety and health regulations

Read from specs

Troubleshoot basic things such as jam, change over, cleaning blades

Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses/goggles, hair and beard nets, gloves and closed toes shoes

Role Description:

With this role you are responsible for safe operations of simple manufacturing machines keeping up with paperwork, weight, producing great quality product

Need an understanding of production and plant processes

Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement are necessary

Need ability to follow written and oral instructions
