We are seeking a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients including washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning
Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Label, date, and properly store food items
Assist with inventory and stock rotation (FIFO)
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred
Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
