Location : Pan India- ( Hybrid )

Job Description*:

Familiarity with BC-ILM.

Experience with Data Volume Management and SAP EWA.

At least one end-to-end Data Archiving project for a large SAP ECC/S4HANA system.

Basic understanding of Archive storage systems (Easy Archive, KGS, OpenText, etc.).

Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Proficient in Project Planning.

Good understanding of Windows OS and MSSQL Database.

Azure fundamental knowledge.

Good understanding of Business Data classification, retention period coordination, and basic Legal understanding (GDPR, etc.).

Experience in writing technical concepts, such as Knowable Base Articles, Wiki pages, Root Cause Analysis and BLOG entries etc.

Understand the current environment and gather statistics on existing archiving runs.

Configure new archiving objects as needed.

Monitor current archiving runs, share statistics, and resolve failed archiving sessions (create INCs when necessary).

Shut down/start up archiving in SAP and Archive system during maintenance (requires troubleshooting knowledge of Windows and MSSQL).

Perform pre- and post-checks on archiving functionality after major activities and document the results (availability, integration, basic functionality testing).

Troubleshoot Document Archiving/GoS attachment issues and have a good understanding of Archive Link (configuration, tables, etc.).

Learn archiving system technicalities and basic administration (e.g., Easy Archive, KGS). We will provide available standard documentation from the vendor.

Prepare test case scenarios for different Archive Link documents and data archiving to verify archive readability from SAP.

Document all major configurations and activities.
