Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Active WMS Consultant to lead and support Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Manhattan Active WMS, driving design, configuration, integration, and testing efforts while ensuring alignment with business and supply chain requirements.

This role requires strong functional and technical expertise in Manhattan Active WMS, particularly in inbound and outbound warehouse processes, along with integration experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Manhattan Active WMS solutions.

• Serve as the SME for Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM), with deep knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

• Design, configure, and support WMS implementation projects across supply chain platforms.

• Develop comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) outlining integration workflows between Manhattan Active WMS and SAP.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into system solutions.

• Conduct functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), end-to-end testing, and validation processes.

• Ensure accurate and efficient WMS–SAP integration.

• Provide best practice recommendations for optimizing WMS functionality.

• Support release management activities for complex warehouse implementations.

• Work closely with clients to guide and support Manhattan Active WMS deployment.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse and supply chain systems.

• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Manhattan WMS across multiple versions.

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience implementing Manhattan Active WMS.

• Strong experience in Supply Chain Management with focus on:

o WMS Configuration

o Functional Testing

o System Integration Testing

o End-to-End Testing

o Release Management

• Proven experience integrating Manhattan Active WMS with SAP.

• Strong understanding of ERP integrations.

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL queries.

• Knowledge of WMS reporting tools and Supply Chain Intelligence platforms.

• Experience integrating WMS with:

• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as conveyors

• Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

• Working knowledge of Manhattan ProActive and APIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
