About the Role
Full Time Position
We’re hiring WHS Advisors to join our team for FIFO-based projects across a range of high-profile clients, Australia wide. You'll play a key role in improving safety systems, managing incidents, and ensuring strict compliance with legislative and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide infield WHS advisory support on short- and medium-term FIFO assignments.
• Lead and manage incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions.
• Review and improve risk assessments, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Integrate safety improvements into documentation and daily site processes.
• Conduct compliance audits to meet WHS and environmental standards.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings to align on safety objectives and performance.
• Support a positive and proactive safety culture across work sites.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking detail-orientated and professional individuals with a passion for safety and the ability to perform under pressure. Ideal candidates will have:
• Cert IV and/or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) – mandatory.
• At least 5 years' experience in WHS roles within mining, oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills.
• Experience working with tier-one mining Clients desirable.
• Experience working with WHS and Mine Safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry compliance standards.
• Strong understanding of the legal framework around HSE designations, appointments, and
documentation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead Auditor experience and knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 (desirable).
