PA to function as our Bone Health Physician Assistant. Job Description: Clinical position, working with fracture prevention, injections, and QCT results. This is a new clinic and it is a huge hit. Very busy. We see the potential to this being the first step into a long term approach with osteopenia or osteoarthritis field. We want to help manage the patient as long as we can before referring to surgical. This position would be good for someone who wants to get out of surgical, handles patients up until they require total hip replacement and treating them until surgery is the last option. This position is open because of growth and will be working alongside another PA. Will be responsible for building a book of business and offers a great opportunity to earn excellent compensation, especially through some of the new injectable medicines that are being offered as treatment. Outstanding compensation program. Additional pay for call. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: PA. Graduate from an accredited program and licensed in state of practice. 1-2 years in a similar environment to our Bone and Joint PA program. Eager, self motivated and understand his role in clinic in terms of RVU and billable services. Strong understanding of where to seek help and where to build his practice. Excellent computer skills and have knowledge of recent systems and required dictation for payment.
