Description:

Master's Level Therapist – Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Natchitoches, Louisiana Full-Time Competitive Salary + Benefits + NHSC Loan Repayment Program This Isn't Your Average Therapy Job.

We're a small, boutique residential treatment program nestled in the heart of historic Natchitoches, Louisiana — and we're looking for a therapist who believes that real healing happens in real relationships.

Not in a cubicle.

Not on a caseload of 80.

Here, you'll actually know your clients, collaborate closely with your colleagues, and see the transformation that happens when people finally feel safe enough to do the hard work.

If you're tired of feeling like a number in a large system and want to pour your skills into something that genuinely matters, we'd love to meet you.

What Life Looks Like Here Our residential setting means you'll walk alongside clients through their day-to-day journey — not just in a 50-minute session once a week.

You'll build real therapeutic rapport, lead intimate group sessions, and be part of a close-knit clinical team that actually talks to each other.

Your voice matters here.

Your ideas shape how we care for people.

Day to day, you'll conduct in-depth biopsychosocial assessments and develop truly individualized treatment plans, facilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy using approaches like Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed care, work hand-in-hand with our clinical and support staff to provide whole-person care, guide clients and their families through one of the most important seasons of their lives, and maintain thoughtful, accurate clinical documentation that reflects the quality of care we're known for.

You're Who We're Looking For If...

You hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and carry an active Louisiana license — LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or associate level.

You have real-world experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions (will consider skilled outpatient practice candidates), and you know that this work is as much about relationship as it is about technique.

You lead with empathy, show up with curiosity, and leave your ego at the door.

Bonus points if you have experience with MI, DBT, EMDR, or trauma-focused modalities — but what we really want is someone who genuinely loves this work and the people it serves.

What We Offer We take care of our people so our people can take care of others.

You can expect a salary of $60,000–$80,000 based on experience and licensure, full health, dental, and vision benefits, generous PTO and paid holidays, a continuing education allowance to keep you growing, clinical supervision support if you're working toward full licensure, and relocation assistance if you're making the move to Natchitoches.

And here's something worth paying attention to: because we're located in a federally designated Mental Health HPSA, you may qualify for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program — up to $50,000 in student loan repayment, tax-free.

We'll help you navigate every step of that application.

For many of our clinicians, this benefit alone is life-changing.

A Word About Natchitoches Louisiana's oldest city has a way of getting into your soul.

Spanish moss, Cane River Lake, a gorgeous historic district, and a genuine sense of community that big cities simply can't manufacture.

Northwestern State University keeps the area young and energized, the cost of living means your salary actually stretches, and the slower pace of life gives you space to breathe — and to be fully present for your clients in a way that burnout-prone metro jobs rarely allow.

This is a place where you can plant roots, build a legacy, and do the best clinical work of your career.
