Description:

Wordpress Web Designer/Developer

WHAT SETS SOCIAL FIRM APART?

Social Firm has been building brands and driving results for clients for more than 16 years - but don't let that fool you. We operate with the energy and ambition of a company that's just getting started. We're growth-oriented, data-driven, and focused on building and implementing systems for our partners - not just delivering services. That distinction matters to us, and it shows in how we work.

We move quickly and proactively. We don't wait to be told what needs to improve - we identify it, bring a solution to the table, and act on it. That mindset is something we look for in every person we hire and something we work hard to reinforce as a team. If you see something that could be better, we want to hear your idea, not just your observation.

We believe that when our people grow, the agency grows. That means investing in your development continuously - staying sharp, staying current, and bringing well-informed recommendations to our partners rather than just checking boxes. We go the extra mile because our partners expect it and because we hold ourselves to that standard.

Our culture isn't an afterthought - it's something we protect. We're results-driven but not cutthroat. We communicate openly, operate with high integrity, and know how to have fun while winning for our clients. We're also active in our community and take our role in it seriously.

Here's what you can expect:

QUALIFICATIONS

The WordPress Web Designer/Developer is a rare combination of creative and technical - equally comfortable crafting a visually compelling design as they are building it out in WordPress. They take pride in the quality of their work and bring a sharp eye for detail to every project, whether it's a full site build, a landing page, or a suite of marketing assets.

This person doesn't need every detail handed to them. They can take a brief, a brand guide, or a rough concept and run with it - making smart design decisions independently while knowing when to loop in the Creative Director or collaborate with the marketing team. They are self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at different stages without letting quality slip.

They are fluent in both design and development - moving naturally between Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress builders, understanding not just how something should look but how it needs to be built to perform. They stay current on design trends, emerging tools, and best practices in web performance and user experience.

This is a full-time, in-house role. The ideal candidate thrives in an agency environment, enjoys variety, and brings a genuine enthusiasm for the craft. They are a collaborative team player who communicates clearly, presents their work with confidence, and takes feedback in stride.
