Position Summary:
The Relationship Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with realtor partners to support business growth and ensure a smooth loan process. This role provides timely updates on loan status, acts as a liaison between the internal team and referral partners, and gathers feedback to improve service delivery and partner satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or the mortgage industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Detail-oriented with effective time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and experience in Encompass or similar loan origination software
Willingness to travel locally for meetings and events
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
High emotional intelligence and professionalism
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
Contact active agents biweekly for relationship maintenance
Schedule and attend events or meetings with referral partners
Support event planning by managing guest lists and logistics
Provide weekly updates to buyer and listing agents
Collect and present feedback from referral partners to internal teams
Help identify client or partner training opportunities
Assist in managing expectations between internal teams and referral partners
Support gathering of documentation to meet closing deadlines
Troubleshoot loan file issues and escalate as needed
Collaborate with loan officers and processors to ensure file accuracy
Proactively monitor pipeline to avoid closing delays
Represent the company professionally at industry and community events
Maintain CRM records with up-to-date partner communication
Coordinate closely with marketing for partner outreach materials
Deliver high-quality customer service in all interactions
Perform additional duties as needed, with occasional overtime and travel.

The range provided reflects the expected compensation for this role and is considered a general guideline. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity. Compensation may also include incentives such as per-file bonuses and discretionary bonuses as applicable to the role.
