As part of the itslearning Operations Team, you will play a central role in modernizing our AWS platform. You will work to standardize and automate core infrastructure, improve reliability and observability, and contribute to the transition to a cloud-based, modern platform.

itslearning has already migrated its services to Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are now entering the next phase, building a fully cloud-native platform with automated operations using Infrastructure as Code. You will be a key member of the team driving automation, reliability, and cost efficiency across our environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code AWS infrastructure (network, compute, storage, observability, IAM, security) according to best practices

Provisioning automation, configuration and change management

Further develop the platform towards cloud-native/container-based hosting in collaboration with product and development teams

Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis

Document patterns and guide colleagues to simplify, standardise and automate platform operations

Formal Qualifications

Solid experience (at least 3 years) with Terraform and AWS

Expertise in infrastructure automation and establishing standards

Operational experience of incident management, root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Ability for clear technical communication and documentation

Professional fluency in English, written as well as verbal
