Radiologic Technologist

Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist, internally referred to as our Rad Tech or Diagnostic Radiology Tech, who is interested in training to be a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech). Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): * Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.

* Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal regulations.

* Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.

* Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

* Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.

* participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities Qualifications Education and Training Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
