JOB TITLE: Maintenance, Full-Time

DEPT: Hohenwald, TN

SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday; 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; OT and Travel required

Maintenance Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Applicants must have real world experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, and demo

Build, repair, paint, replace broken items and parts, clean, mow lawns, and all other functions associated with the general maintenance of housing, grounds, and/or vehicles

Must be available for on call nights and weekends for emergencies. Applicants will be required to work in all weather conditions including extreme weather conditions

Applicants will need to follow instructions, have common sense when making decisions, and some heavy lifting will be required

Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds

If extra hours are needed to complete work, must be flexible and still be pleasant to residents in our housing

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception

Maintenance Qualifications

Pass Background Check and Drug Screen required

Keeps a current CPR and First Aid certifications

Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired

Maintenance Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED

One year or more of related experience or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
