Long-Term Substitute Special Educator Needed

Location: Hinesburg Community School

Hinesburg Community School (HCS) is seeking an innovative, energetic, and collaborative individual to join our special education team as a Long-Term Substitute Special Educator. This is an immediate opening with an anticipated duration through the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year.

We are seeking a professional with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills who matches our passion for an integrated special education service delivery model within a multi-tiered system of supports. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in collaborative teaming (including collaborating with classroom teachers to co-design instruction), knowledge of special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to integrate a variety of assessment information to develop intervention programs. Only certified teachers will be considered for this position.
