Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30 pm
Pay: Weekly pay, starting at $17.96 Per hour and eligible to participate in the production monthly bonus for up to $230 per month.

Purpose: Operates industrial powered vehicles to move parts or finished goods, safely and in a timely manner. Tracks inventory movement using barcodes and scanners; may load and unload semi-tractor trailers; may be trained and authorized to handle special or over-size loads, or to lift personnel with approved equipment.
Essential Functions
This position's essential functions vary due to assigned department and are required but not limited to:
1.Common Functions
a. May fill in for drivers in other departments.
b. Performs daily safety checks, assures equipment is in proper working condition.
c. Maintains and takes pride in the physical appearance of equipment and work area.
d. Before releasing for transport, inspects each load for safe stacking and secure containment of parts/pieces/components.
e. Inspects each container for label and without multiple tags.
f. Weigh counts parts in containers for inventory accuracy.
g. Assists in keeping aisles and storage areas free from debris or other hazards.
2.Hardware
a. Responsible for supplying hardware to production lines.
b. Using the tugger, delivers hardware bins to appropriate production line.
c. Verifies correct hardware is placed in bins per work order.
d. Count, verify, receive and print inventory labels for returned hardware during the changeover process.
3.Paint
a. Keeps paint department supplied with sufficient containers and parts, and maintains a continuous flow of parts to eliminate down time.
b. Verifies containers are tagged before leaving the department.
c. Shrink wraps finished goods for shipping.
d. Empties scrap dumpsters.
e. During down time, helps hang-on/take-off parts or packing area.
4.Welding
a. Pulls fixtures and assists operator in job set-up.
b. Scans and pulls correct parts from the welding warehouse and delivers to appropriate robotic or manual welding center.
c. Transports completed jobs to drop site.
d. Empties scrap dumpsters.
5.Machining
a. Unloads trucks and moves raw and finished goods.
b. Prints bar code labels and accurately tags containers; transports to drop location.
c. Scans containers in dip paint line area.
d. Empties scrap dumpsters.
e. Transports dies to and from designated locations.
6.Fabrication
a. Supplies and removes containers and/or coils from press to maintain a continuous flow.
b. Supplies and removes scrap dumpsters.
c. Weighs and records scrap from designated dumpsters and transports to appropriate recycling area.
d. Transports dies to and from designated locations.
7.Assembly
a. Delivers parts to appropriate assembly line to maintain a continuous flow.
Removes empty containers from line and deliver to appropriate storage site
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Must successfully complete Industrial Power Vehicle training and certification, including hearing and/or vision testing, possess valid driver's license.
2. Measuring and Mathematical Skills
a. Effectively able to add, subtracts, multiplies, and divides.
b. Able to verify parts using work instructions.
3. Language Skills (Speaking and Writing)
a. Ability to effectively communicate between coworkers and supervisors.
b. Writes counts and identification numbers clearly and legibly on tags.
4. Basic Reasoning Skills
a. Ability to apply common sense when following written and oral instructions.
b. Ability to read, interpret, and take action on written instruction.
5. Physical Requirements and Manual Dexterity
a. Steps up and down to get in and out of lift truck throughout shift.
b. May sit throughout shift, or stand throughout shift depending on equipment operated, and regularly walks to and from lift truck.
c. Operates lift truck controls and steering using feet and hands.
d. Frequently rotates upper body, head and neck to look behind truck when operating in reverse.
e. Occasional bending, lifting, carrying; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
