POSITION SUMMARY:

The Streets Maintenance Worker I is responsible for performing a variety of general labor work involving all aspects of the Streets Team.

Typical duties may include but not limited to:

Assist in the operation of hand tools/loppers. This includes the cleaning of the equipment.

Assist with curb/line painting and sign installation which may include drilling holes, cutting channels, sign maintenance, etc.

Assist Highways with winter maintenance.

May work in all other areas of Streets which may include snow removal, leaf collection, grass cutting, etc.

May require seasonal 2nd or 3rd shift.

Performs other duties as requested and assist in other areas as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirements/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Six (6) months prior experience as a maintenance worker.

Prior employment experience as a grounds maintenance worker preferred.

Valid PA Class C Driver’s License
