TRUCK DRIVER

● Collecting and picking up goods and materials from the store going to the warehouse.

● Ability to familiarize and memorize all the stores that we are supplying products.

● Ability to know and familiarize all the locations that are passed.

● Flexible and detail-oriented.

● Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

● Delivering and checking off (if required) goods at customers’ premises.

● Perform daily inspections on all assigned vehicles, at the beginning of each shift.

● Completing trucking sheets and run sheets with all relevant information.

● Collecting goods according to instructions and completing associated paperwork.

● Carrying out a routine daily inspection sheet prior to setting off and reporting any defects that occur during the course of the working day.

● Abiding by current driver’s hours, rules and regulations including working time directives. Ensuring legal breaks are taken and tachographs are completed correctly.

● Available to work required shifts and overtime during the week and on the day as required.

● Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
