Job Description :

Role Overview: This onsite position at 30 Rockefeller Plaza requires a high-level Data Analyst to drive visual analytics and data-driven decision-making. The primary focus is on leveraging Tableau and advanced Excel to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. Due to the nature of the project and client requirements, a comprehensive 10-year background check (BGC) is mandatory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Tableau dashboards and visualizations to track key business metrics.

Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.

Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query) to clean, manipulate, and model data for reporting.

Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals.

Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies across multiple data sources.

Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical leadership.

Streamline existing reporting processes through automation and improved data visualization techniques.

Technical & Functional Skills:

Visualization Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Tableau (6–9 years) including calculated fields, parameters, and dashboard optimization.

Spreadsheet Engineering: Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for complex data modeling and statistical analysis.

Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to conduct end-to-end data analysis, from data mining to executive-level presentation.

Data Literacy: Understanding of database structures and the ability to interpret complex data schemas.

Behavioral Skills:

Attention to Detail: Precision in data handling and a commitment to 100% accuracy in reporting.

Communication: Ability to present "the story behind the data " in a polite, professional, and impactful manner.

Collaboration: Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced corporate environment and engaging with cross-functional teams.

Adaptability: Capacity to pivot between different data projects and meet tight deadlines for a 3-month engagement.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 6–9 years of professional experience in Data Analysis.

Specialization: Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level Tableau solutions.

Compliance: Must be able to pass a rigorous 10-year background check (BGC).
