Position Summary
SHINSUNG E&G USA INC seeks a Mechanical Installation Project Manager to support and coordinate mechanical installation activities for advanced cleanroom and high-tech industrial projects in Texas. The position requires specialized technical expertise in NMP duct systems, HVAC/process piping, and cleanroom mechanical infrastructure. The Mechanical Installation Project Manager will play a critical hands-on role in ensuring proper installation quality, technical coordination, and field execution in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Installation Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical installation activities for advanced cleanroom, EV battery, and semiconductor facility projects in Texas. The position provides hands-on technical oversight of NMP duct systems, HVAC ductwork, and process piping installations while reviewing drawings to identify potential interferences and resolve field constructability issues. The role involves troubleshooting on-site mechanical and piping problems, coordinating installation schedules with field personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets project specifications and safety standards. The Mechanical Installation Project Manager also provides technical guidance to installation crews as project needs expand and prepares regular progress reports and installation documentation to support successful project execution.
Minimum Requirements
• Five years of experience in mechanical installation for high-tech industrial facilities such as EV battery plants, semiconductor fabs, or similar environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of NMP duct systems, HVAC ductwork, and/or process piping installation.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing drawings and resolving field constructability issues.
• Proven ability to coordinate field activities and communicate effectively with multicultural project teams.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites throughout Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in advanced cleanroom construction projects.
• Experience supporting large-scale battery or semiconductor facility builds.
• Familiarity with safety compliance and quality control procedures in high-tech construction environments.
• Specialized experience in NMP duct and high-tech cleanroom mechanical systems is highly preferred.
