Owner's Construction Representative
Position Overview
The Owner's Construction Representative will serve as the primary liaison between the owner and the construction contractors, ensuring that the project is executed according to specifications, within budget and on schedule. This role involves overseeing the construction process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact between the owner and contractors throughout the construction process.
Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of materials and services.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and submit regular reports on project status to the owner.
Manage contractor performance and address any issues that arise during the project.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction and plant engineering processes.
Experience managing vendors and contractors effectively.
Excellent reporting and communication skills.
Familiarity with industrial machinery and construction safety standards.
This is a contract role which begins in Houston, TX and will transition to Columbus, Ohio
