Hours:
• M-F, 7:30am – 4:00 pm, Shifts may include 8, 10, or 12 hour rotations
• Coverage may include weekdays, weekends or federal holidays depending on the needs of the Medical Facility
• On call after hours, 4:00pm -7:30am
Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an approved cardiovascular training program in the field of study
• Cardiovascular technology
• Diagnostic cardiac ultrasound
Certifications:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Radiologic Technologist Registered-Cardiovascular Invasive (RTR-CI)
Major Duties:
Duties Included, but not limited to the following:
Serves in a multi-role ( scrub, monitor, circulator)
• Scrub-Participates with the physician in planning procedures then initiates the preparation for the physician directed procedures.
• Monitor-Operates an interactive computerized digital subtraction angiographic system in order to produce coronary and left ventricle graphic images.
• Circulator-Retrieves images for replay as well as roadmap. Performs replay review of images to include quantitative and qualitative assessment of cardiac issues.
