As a Security Officer Unarmed Facility Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to requests with clear communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and telecommunications location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance and/or coordinating with on-site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor traffic as assigned, verifying credentials and/or directing guests, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.

Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and follow post orders for shift turnover and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
