Quality Engineer

Establish and maintain an ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliant quality management system for WR America; develop quality policies, procedures, control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions for PTC heaters, coolant heaters, and actuator product lines; lead customer facing quality activities including issue containment, 8D and 5 Why root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and performance reporting; coordinate APQP and PPAP for new programs and engineering changes with manufacturing, purchasing, and headquarters; perform and oversee incoming, in process, and final inspection, apply SPC and MSA, conduct capability studies including Cp and Cpk, and perform supplier quality audits; collaborate with research and development to optimize design for manufacturability and quality, validate changes, and meet cost and quality targets; conduct regular quality review meetings with customers and headquarters and train technicians and inspectors on standardized work and gauging.

Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field, and at least two years of experience.
