The Land Survey Crew Chief is responsible for leading and executing various land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and utility surveys.
This role oversees field operations, ensures data accuracy, maintains safety and productivity standards, and serves as the primary point of contact between field crews and the office.
Responsibilities * Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA, construction, and utility surveys.
* Operate robotic total stations, GPS, and related survey equipment.
* Collect accurate field data using point codes and line-work methods.
* Read and interpret construction plans and survey documents.
* Ensure proper setup and accurate use of survey instruments.
* Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time.
Essential Skills * Surveying expertise, especially in boundary, topographic, ALTA, construction, and utility surveys.
* Proficiency in operating total stations and GPS equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and survey documents.
* 5+ years of experience as a Crew Chief or field supervisor.
* Valid driver's license.
