This employee will be expected to be familiar with CSS program and have management knowledge and coaching principles.

Work assignments may be received in the form of written or verbal communication or may be assigned based on innovation of ideas by the employee.

The employee may also be asked to assist with other program or sub program teams' work assignments.

This is diverse or complex managerial work exercising authority and control over the resources necessary to operate and maintain multiple activities.

Work involves establishing and/or approving operating procedures, objectives and goals within agency or regulatory guidelines; formulating policies and interpreting and directing the application of policies and guidelines; using management systems and tools to determine, assign and oversee the quality of work; and coordinating or managing the resources necessary for operations through contractors, vendors, providers, or lower level managers and staff.

View the full position description: Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: *If a driver's license is required, a copy must be uploaded with your application.* * Three years of experience in planning, organizing and directing the work of a department, program or agency.

Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications: Child support experience or state agency experience at a management level preferred.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check.

Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF.

Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.

Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate: A valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is a condition of employment for all employees of the State of Kansas.

A Tax Clearance can be obtained through the Kansas Department of Revenue who reviews individual accounts for compliance with Kansas Tax Law.
