We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of advanced autonomous robotic welding systems. This role sits at the intersection of industrial automation, artificial intelligence, and computer vision â supporting highly flexible robotic platforms designed to operate with minimal traditional programming.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC and motion control systems for robotic welding cells
Integrate robotics, vision systems, sensors, and AI-enabled automation platforms
Develop and maintain HMI interfaces and system diagnostics
Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues in production environments
Support commissioning and startup of automated welding systems
Collaborate with software, robotics, and AI teams to enhance system performance
Create and maintain electrical schematics, I/O layouts, and control documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, uptime, and scalability
Required Qualifications
Bachelorâ s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in industrial automation or robotics controls
Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
Experience integrating robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar)
