Akkodis is seeking an Android Mobile Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will bring over a decade of handson Android development experience, a key qualification for building modern, highperformance mobile applications.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Android Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain highquality Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, LiveData, and modern Android development tools.

Build intuitive, responsive, and secure mobile UIs-including layouts, animations, and optimized REST API integrations-to deliver seamless user experiences.

Lead system design efforts and ensure operational stability through rigorous unit testing and functional testing using frameworks like Mockito and Espresso.

Develop scalable, localized, multitenant mobile solutions while applying strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS3, and responsive design patterns when required.

Create clean, secure, productionready code and troubleshoot complex issues by applying advanced problemsolving, multithreading, and datastructure expertise.

Collaborate across teams to deliver highperformance mobile features, ensuring timely releases, technical quality, and adherence to best practices. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of handson experience in Android mobile application development.

Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, REST API integration, and mobile UI/UX fundamentals.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
