OFSAA Developer

Job Summary

The OFSAA Developer will support the development, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) suite for financial, profitability, and regulatory reporting processes.

This role involves working with data warehouses, ETL processes, job scheduling systems, and financial data structures to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.

The developer will collaborate closely with finance teams, data governance, and technical teams to support business requirements and ensure compliance with SDLC processes.

The position includes maintaining OFSAA modules, integrating data from source systems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, develop, upgrade, and customize OFSAA modules such as OFSAAI, OFSALM, OFSFTP, OFSPFT, OFSADIH, and OFSDF.

Map data from staging layers and reporting areas, including EDW to OFSAA, and perform T2T development.

Support data warehouse initiatives and perform tasks related to data integration and transformation.

Collaborate with finance teams to evaluate monthly business requirements and support development, testing, and deployment activities.

Work with financial data to understand how attributes interact across financial statements.

Maintain and enhance existing OFSAA applications and ensure adherence to SDLC processes.

Perform patching, monitoring, and performance tuning within the OFSAA environment.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess process improvements, system impacts, and enhancement needs.

Provide technical support and address application or data issues.

Perform additional duties as needed. Required Qualifications

Three to five years of experience supporting OFSAA 8.1.0 or 8.1.2.

Experience with OFSAA patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Experience with Erwin data modeling tools.

Basic Unix or Linux scripting experience.

Experience with ETL, PL/SQL programming, and SQL Developer or Toad.

Bachelor's degree.

Five or more years of data warehouse experience.

Five or more years of application development and implementation experience. Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of financial services or banking experience.

Experience merging models from multiple OFSAA instances.

Knowledge of Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling.

Understanding of financial terminology and related concepts.

Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience working with customers or business partners in a service-oriented environment.

Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
