Akkodis is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator for a Contract opportunity in Columbus, OH (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in PeopleSoft architecture, installations, upgrades, environment management, migrations, integrations, and automation. This role requires handson experience with PeopleTools, PUM upgrades, WebLogic, Oracle environments, and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
PeopleSoft Administrator job responsibilities include:
Managing PeopleSoft architecture, PeopleTools administration, installations, upgrades, and environment maintenance
Implementing PUM updates, patches, bundles, and change management using Change Assistant
Supporting application and tools upgrades, configuring upgrade templates, and maintaining payroll tax updates
Handling Integration Broker setup, configuration, and troubleshooting integration failures
Performing environment refreshes, cloning, migrations (Application, DB Scripts, SQR, Shell Scripts), and maintaining Oracle/WebLogic environments
Creating technical architecture documents, hardware sizing, and production support deliverables
Automating monitoring tasks through shell scripting and managing job scheduling (Autosys/JIL)
Troubleshooting PeopleSoft server issues, infrastructure incidents, and performance problems
Ensuring compliance with environment standards, job scheduling, backup & recovery, monitoring, and release management
Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, providing clear communication, and supporting agile practices Desired Qualifications:
6-8+ years of PeopleSoft technical administration experience
Strong handson experience with PeopleTools 8.5x and PeopleSoft applications 9.x
Deep understanding of PUM upgrade processes, change assistant templates, integrations, and environment setup
Experience with Oracle WebLogic, PL/SQL, shell scripting, and automation tasks
Knowledge of payroll tax updates, server configuration, migrations, environment refreshes, and troubleshooting
Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills
Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
